1. General Shipping Information: All orders are subject to product availability. If an item is not in stock at the time you place your order, we will notify you and refund you the total amount of your order, using the original method of payment.

2. Processing Time: Orders are typically processed within 7 to 30 business days (Monday-Friday, excluding holidays) after your order is placed. During peak seasons or promotional periods, processing times may be extended. A "business day" means any day other than a Saturday, Sunday, or a public holiday in New York State/United States of America.

3. Shipping Times & Estimates: Estimated delivery times are provided for your convenience only and are not guarantees. Once your order has been processed and shipped, delivery times will vary depending on your location and the chosen shipping method.

  • Domestic Shipping: 30 - 60 business days.

  • International Shipping: 30 - 90 business days. (If applicable)

Please note that these are estimates. Delays can occur due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, carrier issues, customs procedures (for international orders), or other factors outside of our control.

4. Shipping Costs: Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of your order, as well as the selected shipping method. The final shipping cost will be displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase. We may offer free shipping for orders exceeding a certain value, as specified on our Website.

5. Shipment Tracking: Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing a tracking number. You can use this number to track the progress of your shipment directly on the carrier's website. Please allow up to 24-48 hours for tracking information to become active after you receive your shipping confirmation.

6. Incorrect Address / Unclaimed Packages: It is the customer's responsibility to provide an accurate and complete shipping address. Batavia Empire Company is not responsible for lost or undeliverable packages due to incorrect addresses provided by the customer. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address or if it remains unclaimed by the customer, the customer will be responsible for any re-shipping fees. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

7. Lost or Damaged Packages: While we take great care in packaging your items, Batavia Empire Company is not responsible for packages lost or damaged by the shipping carrier.

  • Lost Packages: If your tracking information indicates that your package has been delivered but you have not received it, please contact the shipping carrier immediately to initiate an investigation. We recommend also checking with neighbors or your local post office. While we will assist where possible by providing necessary shipping details, the resolution for lost packages typically lies with the shipping carrier.

  • Damaged Packages: If your package arrives damaged, please document the damage (take photos) and contact the shipping carrier immediately to file a claim. Please also notify us at bataviaempirecompany@gmail.com within 3 days of delivery so we can provide support and assess the situation.

8. International Shipping Disclaimer (If applicable): For international orders, please be aware that customs duties, taxes, and fees may be imposed by the destination country. These charges are not included in the product price or shipping cost and are the sole responsibility of the customer. Batavia Empire Company has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Please check with your local customs office for more information before placing your order. Delays due to customs processing are outside of our control.

9. Force Majeure: Batavia Empire Company shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of religion, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, strikes, or shortages of transportation facilities, fuel, energy, labor, or materials.

10. Changes to Policy: Batavia Empire Company reserves the right to update or modify this Shipping Policy at any time without prior notice. The most current version of the policy will always be posted on our Website.
